Forgotten Coast Outdoors
Take a guided tour to another world, a wild place as far removed from the hand of man as possible. The Forgotten Coast and its incredible bio-diversity could never be cataloged in one book, but in his words and images John Spohrer, Jr., the author and photographer, gives us both a sweeping view and intimate introductions to some of its many fascinating inhabitants.

Historic Apalachicola
Apalachicola is a small town located at the mouth of the Apalachicola River. The town's Historic District is in a transition, with people preserving the history by restoring the old homes and commercial buildings.

St. George Island State Park
Miles of undeveloped beaches and emerald waters provide the perfect setting for this park. The park offers ample opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, canoeing, boating, hiking, camping, and nature study.

Robinson Brothers Guide Service
Capt Tommy Robinson, and his brother Capt. Chris Robinson are two of Florida's most respected and sought after saltwater guides. The guide service has been featured in numerous magazine articles. Because of north Florida's mild climate, successful trips are available year-round, on Apalachicola Bay and St. Joseph Bay (also known as St. Joe Bay).

St. George Island Lighthouse
Built in 1852, the Light valiantly withstood over a century and a half of nature’s surprises, but finally could take no more. The continued beach erosion on Little St. George Island had left the lighthouse standing in the surf, and the pounding waves ultimately undermined her base. The Florida Lighthouse Association had recently declared the Cape St. George Light to be “the most endangered lighthouse in Florida.”
