Our stay at the Cotton Patch was great! We are a family of four with two teens and It was our first time on St. George Island and the Cotton Patch's location was perfect for us to explore all the island has to offer. Without knowing the nooks and crannies, we were able to conveniently shop and explore the more commercial side while at the same time jump on bikes and ride most of the lengths of the island on either end. The private pool was great and access to the beach is basically a one minute walk. So nice! Beds were extremely comfortable and the house is very well stocked with pretty much everything you could ever want, although I did need to purchase an oyster knife for the delicious Apalachicola oysters! Two other minor things I think could use a fix but certainly don't reflect in my ratings are the outdoor "park style" grill is not very nice – would recommend adding a simple gas or charcoal grill, and also enclosing the outdoor shower a little better so there is more privacy, it's wide open to anyone going up or down the stairs. We also had a minor air-conditioning malfunction that was promptly taken care of by RVP. Great service! Again, minor issues and didn't affect our stay at all. I would stay here again and also recommend to anyone with a small family!- Anonymous U , Posted: 04/14/2021
